Dr. Robert M. Svarney Jr.
Dr. Robert M. Svarney Jr. completed his undergraduate work at The State University of New York at Binghamton in Biology. Dr. Svarney attended the first dental college founded in the United States, the University of Maryland College of Dental Surgery in Baltimore. During his senior year, Dr. Svarney was the only student awarded the American Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery Dental Student Award of Excellence.
Following graduation, he was nominated for an internship and advanced training in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery specializing in trauma, oncology and facial reconstruction at the University of Maryland Medical Center, R. Cowley Adams Shock Trauma Center in Baltimore, Maryland.
Dr. Svarney then completed his medical training and surgical residency in Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery at The Cornell University Medical Center – New York Presbyterian Hospital in Manhattan, New York. He served as the Chief Resident of the department of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at Cornell Medical Center.
Dr. Svarney holds dual Board Certifications in both Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery and General Anesthesia. He has been voted by his peers and recognized by the Las Vegas Review Journal’s “Top Surgeons” in the Annual Top Docs and Best of Nevada for the past three years.
In December 2015, Dr. Svarney had the opportunity to relocate to sunny San Diego. Dr. Svarney is available for consultation by appointment.
